Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) is your pathway to resolving tough family issues without the need for lengthy and expensive court battles. It's like having a supportive guide who helps families navigate through conflict-driven arguments or challenging disagreements.
At Western Mediation Group, we provide a neutral and safe space where families can discuss matters like property settlements or co-parenting arrangements in a confidential setting. Our trained professionals act as facilitators, ensuring everyone's voice is heard and respected.
FDR is all about finding solutions together, maintaining respectful relationships, and empowering families to make decisions that work best for them. It's a cooperative, peaceful way to resolve conflicts and pave the way for a smoother future.
At Western Mediation Group, our qualified Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners offer comprehensive support. Accredited by the Attorney-General’s Department and authorised to issue section 60I Certificates, our practitioners bring extensive expertise in dispute resolution and family law.
We specialise in navigating disputes effectively, primarily through mediation. FDR not only minimises the financial strain commonly associated with courtroom proceedings but preserves relationships and expedites the path toward closure, allowing individuals to move forward with their lives more swiftly and with less emotional turmoil.
Our process includes arranging follow-ups to gauge the other party’s willingness to engage in FDR. If, for any reason, there's a lack of engagement or if we find the situation unsuitable for FDR, we're authorised to issue a section 60I certificate.
